This small but intensely moisturising all-purpose Healing Balm is ideal for use on the lips but can also be used all over the body on patches of skin inflammation such as grazes, burns, nappy rash, eczema, psoriasis, bed sores and chapped or sore skin.

It contains soothing, anti-inflammatory Calendula Extract, which helps to regenerate wound tissue and repair skin cells.

It also contains a small amount of Bergamot essential oil, which gives the balm a slight antiseptic quality which is good for preventing and treating cold sores, treating small cuts & grazes, eczema and psoriasis. It also gives the balm a wonderfully uplifting citrus scent.

You can just use this delicious balm as an everyday lip balm, or use it as an emergency repair lip balm, when your lips are particularly sore, wounded or burnt.

Like all our products, this lip balm is made of 100% Organic, natural & Fairtrade ingredients such as Organic Yellow Beeswax, Organic, unrefined Shea Nut & Cocoa Butter and Calendula Oil, which soothe and moisturise your lips without irritating them. Our natural lip balm can be used all over for help with dry skin complaints such as eczema. It also protects your skin against the elements and helps to heal dry, chapped lips.

The Shea and Cocoa butter in these lip balms are unrefined and Fairtrade - made by hand by women in Ghana under a Fairtrade cooperative.

INGREDIENTS:

Certified Organic, Unrefined, Fairtrade Shea Butter - This butter is made from the West African Shea nut is an excellent skin conditioner, nourishes the skin with Vitamins A, E & F and heals, protects and soothes rough, dry or chapped lips.

Certified Organic, Unrefined, Fairtrade Cocoa Butter - Extracted from the cocoa bean, cocoa butter is an emollient that softens, heals and protects chapped skin. It is also high in antioxidants and helps to retain moisture (and gives the lip balm the sweet, decadent, 'creamy' texture).

Organic Yellow Beeswax - A natural, unrefined, unbleached wax made by bees in the cell walls of honeycombs, beeswax creates a protective barrier over the lips and is a hydrating ingredient in its own right.

Calendula Infusion Oil (in Organic Sunflower) - Calendula oil is renowned for its calming and soothing properties on the skin. It aids tissue regeneration and is a valuable oil for treating wounds, scars, burns, inflammation etc.
