Like all our products, this fully certified lip balm is made of 100% natural, nourishing ingredients such as Organic Yellow Beeswax, Organic, unrefined Shea Nut & Cocoa Butter and Organic Apricot Kernel Oil, which soothe and moisturise your lips without irritating them. Our natural lip balm also protects your skin against the elements and helps to heal dry, chapped lips.

The Shea and Cocoa butter in these lip balms are unrefined and Fairtrade - made by hand by women in Ghana under a Fairtrade cooperative. Shea butter is also a natural protectant from the UV rays of the sun.

We have steered clear of synthetic wax, petroleum jelly and synthetic fragrances which are in many commercial lip balms and are no good for your lips. Did you know that Vaseline just creates a greasy barrier over your lips and doesn’t actually moisturise them at all? This explains why it slides off easily. Our lip balm moisturises your lips and stays on. Plus a little goes a long way!

INGREDIENTS:

Certified Organic, Unrefined, Fairtrade Shea Butter - This butter is made from the West African Shea nut is an excellent skin conditioner, nourishes the skin with Vitamins A, E & F and heals, protects and soothes rough, dry or chapped lips.

Certified Organic, Unrefined, Fairtrade Cocoa Butter - Extracted from the cocoa bean, cocoa butter is an emollient that softens, heals and protects chapped skin. It is also high in antioxidants and helps to retain moisture (and gives the lip balm the sweet, decadent, 'creamy' texture).

Organic Apricot Kernel Oil - This oil has rejuvenating and protecting qualities, and is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B17 and E.

Organic Yellow Beeswax - A natural, unrefined, unbleached wax made by bees in the cell walls of honeycombs, beeswax creates a protective barrier over the lips and is a hydrating ingredient in its own right.

Organic Vanilla Extract - This is made from Madagascan vanilla pods steeped in Organic sunflower oil.
